Hey Guys!
Firstly welcome to Marjon, I’m Zak Liddell; your Student Union Deputy-President for the next year, a year which I guarantee will be the best of your life! Our job in the Student Union is not only to make sure you enjoy yourselves by organising events such as Fresher’s Fortnight but also to help you with any concerns, questions or troubles you may be having. Basically it’s all about YOU! (If you find yourselves getting confused between myself and Benson just remember that I'm the more attractive one)
However this profile apparently has to be about me...ummm...so yeah, I've been at Marjon for three years and I just graduated with a degree in English Literature, in my second year I was a M.U.S.T and in my third year I was Entertainments officer, so between me and Benson we know how to throw a party!
Your time at Marjon is set to be amazing, and we will do what we can to make sure you enjoy it; however it’s up to you to get out of it what you can, if you think there should be something changed, or new, then come and tell us! Marjon is a family which you are now part of, embrace it!

One of the first big events that you guys will experience is Fresher’s Fortnight (yeah we kinda out do other uni’s by having 2 weeks instead of one) which we have been busy planning all summer, and trust me, it’s gonna be epic! When you first arrive you may find yourselves a bit overwhelmed with information so don’t hesitate to ask us for help, our office door is always open.
I think that’s about it, don’t be afraid to say hi if see me out and about, just be aware if it’s a night out there is no guarantee I’ll remember in the morning.
